• Changes to Instagram will allow the photo sharing service to place users’ photos in advertisements without notifying them. By using the site, social networkers are agreeing to the new privacy policy and terms of service which will take effect on Jan. 16, 2013. Users’ photos could also appear on other sites including Facebook, which owns Instagram. According to the Huffington Post, ads may not be clearly marked, and the site is not to be used for back-up or photo storage. More here.
