Thirty Tigers Wraps Successful 2014

Nashville music marketing, distribution and artist management company Thirty Tigers had a banner year in 2014. Led by President David Macias, the staff of 21 worked projects by Chase Rice, Sturgill Simpson, Jason Isbell and many more.

Chase Rice’s album, Ignite the Night, has sold 132,000 units. The album’s first single “Ready Set Roll” has been certified platinum and current single, “Gonna Wanna Tonight” just hit country radio. In 2015 Rice, a Dack Janiels/Columbia Nashville artist, will join Kenny Chesney’s stadium tour.

Sturgill Simpson’s Grammy-nominated Metamodern Sounds in Country Music has crossed 65,000 units scanned as the performer continues an extensive tour schedule. He played on Late Night With Seth Meyers earlier this month.

Jason Isbell, a Thirty Tigers management and distribution client, played three sold-out nights at The Ryman in October. He also racked up at the 2014 Americana Music Awards, winning Artist of the Year, Album of the Year for Southeastern, and Song of the Year for “Cover Me Up.” Southeastern is quickly closing in on 150,000 scanned. Isbell is managed by Thirty Tigers’ Traci Thomas.

Thirty Tigers Films is in full swing and is nearing completion of documentary Fear of Thirteen. In 2015 it will produce its first feature film, a project based on the novel Once Upon a River. Thirty Tigers Films is also co-producing Rock My Soul, a PBS pledge special starring The Fairfield Four and The McCrary Sisters, and featuring Lucinda Williams, Amos Lee, Van Hunt, Lee Ann Womack and Buddy Miller

Other Thirty Tigers clients who made waves this year include St. Paul & the Broken Bones and Trampled by Turtles.

In 2015, Thirty Tigers will release new albums by Lucinda Williams, Hayes Carll, The McCrary Sisters, Van Hunt, The Fairfield Four, Ryan Bingham, Diamond Rugs and more.
