Taylor Swift To Host Live Stream on Yahoo!

SwiftTaylor Swift has announced a worldwide live stream from New York on Monday, Aug. 18 at yahoo.com/taylorswift.

The countdown has begun for the 5 p.m. ET/2 p.m. PT event at Yahoo!, where fans can register for event reminders. Fans are able to design and send official viewing party invitations through Evite. Up to 89 lucky fans will be selected to attend the New York event, based on submissions reviewed for creativity, enthusiasm and uniqueness.

The 24-year-old star has been dropping hints all last week, which coincide with the announcement. The official hashtag for the 2014 event is #TaylorSwiftYahoo.

In 2012, Swift hosted an August web chat with Google, which turned out to reveal her Red album, cover art and preview of the radio single. Good Morning America and iTunes then helped Swift promote the October album release by previewing and pre-releasing tracks.
