SunTrust Expands Music Division, Marks 25 Years On Music Row

From the top: Earle Simmons, Amy Delk, Bryan Bolton, and Dusty Miller

SunTrust Bank has expanded its Sports and Entertainment Specialty Group’s music division by adding advisors Earle Simmons, Amy Delk, Bryan Bolton, and Dusty Miller to the Nashville branch.

Each new advisor will play a significant role in SunTrust’s growth and service strategy as the company approaches its 25th anniversary in Nashville. The bank currently represents more than 1,000 artists, songwriters, record companies and others in the entertainment industry.

“We’re extremely excited to welcome these talented people to our group,” said Andrew Kintz, managing director of SunTrust’s SEG music division. “Over the past 25 years, we’ve built our business in partnership with the Nashville music community, and their input is extremely valuable as we build our team.”

“By seeking input from the Nashville music community in his advisor search, Andrew ensures that the team’s expertise and reputation remain strong,” said Tim Dubois, managing executive of ASCAP’s Nashville regional office and SunTrust Nashville board member. “Having worked personally with Earle and discussed the other advisors joining SunTrust with Andrew, I know they will be a tremendous asset to the Music Row team.”

Earle Simmons makes the move to SunTrust from ASCAP. Over more than a decade, he rose through the ranks of the licensing department, and moved to the membership group in 2006 where he was instrumental in determining royalty advances and loans to songwriters.

Amy Delk has been in banking since 1998, serving in branch management, private banking and treasury management at NBC, Fifth Third Bank, and First Tennessee.

Bryan Bolton has worked at the SunTrust Music Row Office as a financial services representative and commercial banker for four years. He brings a proven track record of success to the client advisor role.

Dusty Miller was most recently an accountant for SunTrust’s longtime business management partner, Flood, Bumstead, McCready, and McCarthy. Prior experience includes employment with Wells Fargo as a branch manager, and service with two mortgage firms.

Expanding the Atlanta team is Jennifer Smith. She has 12 years of banking experience with NBC and SunTrust. She joined the SEG music division in 2007 and will enhance her client support role as a banking consultant.
