The 2012 CMT Music Awards performers list is growing and the latest artists who will get to play the Nationwide Insurance-branded side stage during the broadcast Wednesday, June 6, at 7 pm/CT include Lauren Alaina, Casey James, Jana Kramer, Scotty McCreery, Kip Moore and The Farm.
As part of the sponsorship, CMT’s fan voted Best New Live Act will be awarded the Nationwide Insurance On Your Side Award. 2011 NASCAR Nationwide Series champion Ricky Stenhouse Jr. will reveal the winner during the broadcast.
Voting is open through June 4 at CMT.com for nominees Eli Young Band, Brantley Gilbert, Jake Owen and Thompson Square.
Toby Keith and Kristen Bell will host the Awards, which will feature main stage performances by Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney, Eric Church, Toby Keith, Lady Antebellum, Little Big Town, Willie Nelson, Brad Paisley, Pistol Annies, Rascal Flatts, The Band Perry, Carrie Underwood, Hank Williams, Jr. and Zac Brown Band.
