New Singles: George Strait, The Band Perry

MCA Nashville will release “Give It All We Got Tonight,” George Strait’s new single on Monday, Oct. 29 at 2 pm/CT. The single, penned by Tim James, Phil O’Donnell, and Mark Bright, is the first from Strait’s forthcoming new album. Tony Brown returned as producer for the project.

“The song has a very unusual melody and very cool phrasing, which I’ve always been drawn to,” shared Strait.

Republic Nashville’s The Band Perry will release its long-awaited new single “Better Dig Two” on Monday, Oct. 29. The song will be digitally delivered to country radio for airplay and also available for streaming exclusively on www.rollingstone.com at 2 pm/CT. “Better Dig Two” is the first single from the sibling trio’s sophomore album, slated for early 2013 release.

“The Republic Nashville Promotion team has been crisscrossing the United States for the past two weeks playing the song for Country radio programmers and have gotten amazing reviews!” said Jimmy Harnen, President of Republic Nashville/EVP Big Machine Label Group.

“Better Dig Two” will be available for purchase at iTunes on Tuesday, Oct. 30 and the group will debut the song during the 46th Annual CMA Awards broadcast Thursday, Nov. 1.
