MusicRow Top Songwriter Chart: Ashley Gorley, Brett James, Michael Hardy

Round Hill Music’s Ashley Gorley is at No. 1 on the MusicRow Top Songwriter Chart for the third consecutive week, with seven charting songs supporting his reign. Brett James sits at No. 2 with two charting songs: Carrie Underwood’s “Love Wins” and Cody Johnson’s “On My Way To You.” Michael Hardy follows James at No. 3, and Shane McAnally is at No. 4.

Tree Vibez Music’s Jordan M. Schmidt moves into the top five on the Top Songwriter Chart this week, with the tunes “Caught Up In The Country” (Rodney Atkins), “God’s Country” (Blake Shelton), and “Rednecker” (HARDY) propelling him.

Hillary Lindsey moves into the top 10 at No. 9 with Runaway June’s “Buy My Own Drinks,” Carly Pearce’s “Closer To You,” Luke Bryan’s “Knockin’ Boots,” and Randy Houser’s “What Whiskey Does”—which features Lindsey on background vocals.
