MusicRow No. 1 Song

mcgrawSo I’m not the only one who can’t stop listening to new music from Tim McGraw’s Big Machine album! It seems country radio has been enjoying the new tunes as well, evidenced by “One of Those Nights” spinning its way to the pinnacle of our MusicRow Chart.

“One of Those Nights” not only evokes a sense of nostalgia, but transcends to the present day — a smart and safe bet for country radio success.

Written by Luke Laird, Rodney Clawson, and Chris Tompkins, the recognizable-sounding McGraw song debuted during McGraw’s performance at the 2012 CMA Awards, following his single “Truck Yeah.” Both radio releases preceded this week’s (Feb. 5) album release, Two Lanes of Freedom.

If you’re interested in previewing plenty of potential radio singles before they hit radio waves, take some friendly advice and get ahold of this album––and if you haven’t already, take a look at the official music video for the song below.

McGraw has been making the media rounds in support of the album, including a stop to The Ellen Degeneres Show, where he schemed against a guitarist with the show host. Additionally, McGraw and wife, Faith Hill, are scheduled to make a television appearance as presenters for this Sunday’s (Feb. 10) Grammy® Awards. The couple remains stationed at The Venetian in Las Vegas through April 2013.
