‘MusicRow’ No. 1 Song

Lady Antebellum

Lady Antebellum

Lady Antebellum shines on their latest MusicRow chart-topping single, “Goodbye Town,” from the group’s fourth studio album Golden, which hit stores in May 2013.

The heart-wrenching ballad features Charles Kelley on vocals, depicting his attempts at escaping the dreary hometown evocations in the Peter Zavadil-directed music video.

“Goodbye Town” was written by band members Hillary Scott, Dave Haywood and Kelley along with Josh Kear, who has co-written many of the trio’s hits including “Need You Now.”

MusicRow’s Robert K. Oermann included the song in his summer soundtrack, noting: “Led by the heartbroken, soul-shattering voice of Charles Kelley, the trio keeps you completely in its thrall throughout this pulsing, yearning, lump-in-throat performance. Supremely well written and brilliantly produced, this is the reason these folks are the stars they are.”

We’re looking forward to even more No. 1 singles off this 2013 record!
