Loretta Lynn Moved To Rehab Facility, Recovering Well Following Stroke

Loretta Lynn is recovering well following the stroke she suffered on May 4 at her home in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee. The 85-year-old was hospitalized following a stroke and advised by doctors to stay off the road while recuperating. An update on her website says she has been moved from the hospital into a rehabilitation facility and “is doing great.” She also thanks everybody for their prayers, love, and support in the message posted on her official website.

Lynn had been preparing for the release of a new album, Wouldn’t It Be Great, via Legacy Recordings on Aug. 18. She’s slated to perform two more dates at the Ryman Auditorium later this Summer on Aug. 24-25.
