Katie Keller Joins The Press House

Katie Keller has joined The Press House, a boutique public relations firm with offices in New York, Nashville, and Los Angeles specializing in music, lifestyle, culture, food and festival/event production. Keller will work in the firm’s Nashville office with Maria Ivey, PR Director, and Sarah Bennett, publicist.

Keller has been with the International Bluegrass Music Museum since 2014. A recent graduate of the International Bluegrass Music Association’s Leadership Bluegrass, Keller will remain contracted with the Bluegrass Museum as the marketing director for ROMP Festival. A replacement for the full position has been selected, and will be announced soon.

 

SOLID Announces Music Row Madness Event For 2018

The new-and-improved version of SOLID’s annual Music Row Madness event is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, April 25 from 6-9 p..m at Nashville’s Topgolf. Like previous years’ bowling events, the tournament will feature music industry teams competing to raise money to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee. To date, SOLID has donated more than $160,000 to the cause. SOLID’s goal in 2018 is to continue to increase donations to further help the organization achieve their goal of “providing children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported one-to-one relationships that change their lives for the better, forever.”

The event is open to the public, with the opportunity for 20 teams of six to compete in the tournament conducted by two PGA golf pros. Each team must raise a minimum of $1,000 to participate. Spectator tickets are available for $25. All attendees will have access to complimentary appetizers, a catered buffet, a cash bar and a silent auction/raffle with a wide variety of prizes.

 

Balsam Range Signs With Moonstruck Management

Moonstruck Management has signed Balsam Range for management and booking services. The band’s impressive 10 International Bluegrass Music Association Awards includes the 2017 IBMA Album of the Year Award for Mountain Voodoo, released on the Mountain Home Music Company label.
