Old Dominion kicked off the Association of National Advertisers (ANA) Masters of Marketing Conference opening night dinner with a performance on Wednesday, Oct. 19, in Orlando, Florida. The three-day conference features chief marketing officers and industry movers and shakers sharing stories of how they built brands, leveraged the expanding array of media, and improved the quality of their organizations. Westwood One sponsored music for the event.

 

Renn Inks Production Deal With LabeLive

Renn has inked a development deal with production company LabeLive. The partnership includes stage and show design and production and the company will oversee Renn’s live brand management and show production. Renn’s debut album Heartache and a Song, which was released in November 2015, is approaching nearly 2 million streams.

 

Warner/Chappell Production Music Wins At Mark Awards

Warner Chappell Production Music BLACK Logo111Warner/Chappell Production Music and partner catalogs, 9 Lives Music, Sound-Pol and MidCoast Music, took home five trophies at the 2016 Mark Awards, held Tuesday evening (Oct. 18) at the Production Music Conference. The second annual awards recognized both track and usage categories.

“I’m so proud of our team at Warner/Chappell Production Music and our worldwide partners for the wins at The 2016 Mark Awards,” says Randy Wachtler, President & CEO of Warner/Chappell Production Music. “The talented professionals behind these wins, from composers to producers, musicians and licensing professionals, worked tirelessly to deliver high-quality tracks, and are so deserving of the recognition that they have received.”

Awards were earned in categories including Best Non-Categorical Track, Best Jazz Track, Best Hip-Hop Track, Best Folk Track, and Best Use in Theatrical Film Trailer.

The Mark Awards, presented by the Production Music Association, honors excellence in the production music community. Named in honor of the late Andy Mark, who was a library owner and founding member of the PMA, the Mark Awards recognizes the very best in production music in 24 categories. The Production Music Association (PMA) is an advocate and voice of the production music community. The non-profit organization has over 670 music publisher members, ranging from major labels to independent boutiques.
