Lady A, Darius Rucker Say Goodbye To Summer Plays On

Lady Antebellum and Darius Rucker wrapped their co-headlining Summer Plays On Tour this past weekend on the East Coast. Both acts, along with opener Russell Dickerson, offered unique and spontaneous collaborations with their sets each night, with a portion of every ticket sale going to LadyAID and Just Be You art therapy. The 28-city run wrapped in Bristol, VA.

Jeannie Seely Hosts Dottie West Birthday Bash

Jeannie Seely is slated to host the star-studded second annual Dottie West Birthday Bash on Oct. 10 at 3rd & Lindsley in Nashville. The event supports Nashville Musicians Association with proceeds going to the Musician’s Emergency Relief Fund, and donations are accepted at the door in lieu of tickets. The show will commemorate the birthday of West and her 2018 induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame along with tributes to Johnny Gimble and Ricky Skaggs, who are being honored alongside West. The lineup includes Country Music Hall of Fame honoree Ricky Skaggs performing with his award winning band Kentucky Thunder, Jeannie Seely, Larry Gatlin, Steve Wariner, The Time Jumpers, The Whites, Tim Atwood along with special guests and surprises.

Spence Reed Signs With Kore PR

Spence Reed has teamed up with Nashville-based entertainment public relations firm, Kore PR, to focus on branding, media strategy and publicity. Reed has just released the first of four acoustic projects featuring tracks co-written with hit songwriters Kris Bergsnes and Jim Femino. The album was produced by David Huff, and the single, ”I Want You To,” is available everywhere now.

Deluge Music And Kevin Savigar Celebrate Rod Stewart’s Latest Chart-Topper

 

Rod Stewart’s 30th album release “Blood Red Roses” has entered the UK album charts at No. 1. The project was produced and co-written by Deluge Music’s Kevin Savigar.
