To initiate the program, Nashville music industry and Middle Tennessee locals text the phrase “PLA” to 44622 to become part of the PLA PLAnet social circle. Clients will also be able to join the network under the PLA umbrella and with the simple use of keywords, PLA can develop a campaign for overall fan information acquisition or demographic market area research. “It’s crucial to keep pace and moreover be ahead of new media and marketing,” says Pam Lewis, president of PLA Media. “Aligning with this new venture makes perfect sense to better serve our clients and offer them an important competitive edge.

“Regardless of what kind of smart phone you have, there’s no denying that your phone is probably your most used device between texts, data and calls,” Lewis continues. “We were very excited to connect with ComLink and implement a communication method that makes sense in the current business arena, but is also affordable for clients at all levels.”

watershed Three-Day festival passes for the Watershed Music Festival, to be held August 2-4, have sold-out four months in advance. Terrace, premier, family and big rig camping are also sold-out and the remaining standard camping passes will be sold on a first come, first served basis and only to those who have already purchased festival tickets.

Watershed Music Festival features a versatile lineup of artists, late night sets, camping sites, collaborations and more. The line-up for the second annual event includes Luke Bryan, Toby Keith, Brad Paisley, Lee Brice, Terri Clark, Kip Moore, Thompson Square, Chris Young and more with late night sets at the “World Famous Late Night Honky Tonk” by Shooter Jennings and Blackberry Smoke. The festival will be held at The Gorge Amphitheatre, located in George, Wash.
