The Americana Music Association is set to move its conference headquarters to Nashville’s premier boutique hotel, the Hutton Hotel, for the 15th Annual Festival & Conference to be held Sept. 17-21, 2014. Registrations for Music City’s most comprehensive industry conference will go on sale Friday, Nov. 15, 2013 at special early bird/discounted rates.

The Women’s Music Business Association (WMBA) will hold an open house for potential new members at 6:30pm on Tuesday, Nov. 19 at the Country Music Association (CMA), located at One Music Circle South in Nashville. The event will allow perspective members to connect with current WMBA members and the organization’s executive team and board of directors leading up to the Dec. 1st membership deadline.

Music industry networking group, YEP Nashville, has formed a team to participate in St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital’s St. Jude Give thanks. Walk in Nashville’s Centennial Park, Saturday, November 23 at 9:00 a.m. The group hopes to raise $5,000 for its part in the 5K event.
The 5K will feature American Pickers’ Mike Wolfe will serve as the event’s Grand Marshal, while model Lily Aldridge will also take part in the event. To join or donate, visit stjude.org.
