MCA Nashville’s Clare Dunn Makes Opry Debut

MCA Nashville’s Clare Dunn made her Grand Ole Opry debut Saturday night (March 5). Performing her new single, “Tuxedo,” in addition to “Old Hat” off her self-titled EP. The audience included friends and family in town from her home state of Colorado, and former co-workers from her early days in Nashville when she worked in the Opry gift shop.

Blake Shelton celebrated two shows at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena this weekend (March 4-5) with radio and industry. Shelton’s opener Chris Janson also enjoyed entertaining company backstage at the Nashville tour stops.

Dolly Parton met with executives during yesterday’s (March 7) announcement where the superstar also confirmed work on a play about her life, in addition to announcing a 60+ date tour of United States and Canada–her first major tour in 25 years.

Songwriter Jamie Floyd visited with  Bill Cody on WSM AM’s to talk about her upcoming six-song EP, Sunshine & Rainbows. The EP is available on Friday (March 11). Floyd is a co-writer on Ashley Monroe’s “The Blade.” Floyd will perform the new music at 12th & Porter on Wednesday.
