Grand Ole Opry To Salute U.S Military on May 20

The Grand Ole Opry will salute the U.S. military with a red carpet arrival parade and a special Opry performance on Tuesday, May 20. The MusiCorps Wounded Warrior Band will make its Opry debut. Josh Turner, Darryl Worley, Craig Morgan, Lee Greenwood and Ricky Skaggs are also slated to perform.

The public is invited to be a part of the celebration outside the Opry House beginning at 6 p.m. as members of the MusiCorps Wounded Warrior Band and soldiers from the Tennessee National Guard enter the Opry House via a fan-lined red carpet parade. The evening’s Opry performance begins at 7 p.m.

MusiCorps is a music rehabilitation program at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center that helps severely wounded warriors play music and recover their lives. P
