Clay Walker has signed with Charles Koppelman’s CAK Entertainment for marketing and with CAA for booking. CAK handles marketing, brand development and advisory work for artists and companies such as Jennifer Lopez, Adam Levine, Nicki Minaj and Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, among others. Liesl Haynie of Upward Management will continue in her role as Walker’s manager.

“Clay has long been a big name in country music and he continues to amaze fans across the country,” said Koppelman. “I am looking forward to being a part of his team and helping Clay to grow his brand in order to get to the next level of his career.”

In April, Walker released his first self-penned book, Jesus Was A Country Boy, which reveals some of his early struggles, including growing up poor, broken relationships, and being diagnosed with MS at age 26.

Koppelman has spent 40 years in the industry as a musician, producer, and executive with EMI, Steve Madden, and Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia. He founded CAK Entertainment in 1997.
