Lauren Daigle‘s chart-topping Look Up Child project earned her two nominations when the Grammy nominations were called Friday morning (Dec. 7). The album was nominated for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album, while her song “You Say,” which she penned alongside Paul Mabry and Jason Ingram, was nominated for Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song.
Other artists earning double nominations include Tori Kelly, who earned Best Gospel Album for Hiding Place, and “Never Alone,” ft. Kirk Franklin, was nominated for Best Gospel Performance/Song.
Jekalyn Carr and Jonathan McReynolds were also nominated in the same gospel categories, with Carr earning two nods for the album One Nation Under God, and the track “You Will Win.” McReynolds is nominated for Best Gospel Album for Make Room, as well as Best Gospel Performance/Song for “Cycles” ft. DOE.
