On the heels of the successful fourth annual Songwriters Under The Stars, the critically-acclaimed symphony show Music City Hit-Makers returns to Cheekwood’s Swan lawn for two special fall dates on Oct. 12 and 13. The October concerts will feature songwriters Brett James, Tom Douglas and Billy Montana, accompanied by the Music City Symphony.

“This event is so special because it brings harmony to Nashville’s greatest assets; the songwriters, the greatest symphony and studio musicians in the world and pastoral Cheekwood Botanical Gardens,” says Charles Dixon, event creator and producer. “We are thrilled to have so many amazing songwriters joining us for our biggest year yet.”

Dubbed “the most famous people you’ve never heard of,” the Music City Hit-Makers set will feature the writers’ renditions of No. 1 hits including “Jesus Take The Wheel” (recorded by Carrie Underwood), “I Hold On” (Dierks Bentley), “Bring On The Rain” (Jo Dee Messina), “More Than A Memory” (Garth Brooks), “The House That Built Me” (Miranda Lambert), “Southern Voice” (Tim McGraw) and more, all re-imagined for symphony by the five-time MusicRow Magazine Musician of the Year, music director and arranger, Charles Judge.

Nightly tickets are $45 for Cheekwood members and $55 per night for non-members. Tickets can be purchased at cheekwood.org.

Songwriters Under the Stars is presented by FirstBank and sponsored by Focus Search Partners and the Ryman Hospitality Properties Foundation.
