BMLG Names New Canadian Promotion Director

Promotion veteran Ron Harwood has been appointed to Big Machine Label Group’s National Promotion Director for Canada, it was recently announced by label President and CEO Scott Borchetta.

“Ron is the best of the best and he completely aligns with our vision to continue to build the Big Machine Label Group into a force in Canada,” said Borchetta.

In his new role, Harwood will oversee all of Big Machine’s national Canadian radio promotions, based in the Universal Music Canada offices in Toronto effective November 1. He replaces previous Canadian Director Angela Borchetta.

Harwood spent 17 years with Universal Music Canada. In 2007, he joined EMI Music where he held the position of Manager, National Promotions.
