Bank of America on Music Row Robbed

The Music Row branch of Bank of America was robbed this morning according to a story on WSMV.

WKRN reports a suspicious item was left at the bank, and the robber stated it was a bomb before fleeing the scene. Police sent the bomb squad robot to investigate, and determined the item was harmless.

As the situation unfolded, part of 16th Avenue was closed. It has been reopened.

Located at 1013 16th Ave. South, this was the second time this bank has been hit in as many years. It was also robbed in February 2010.
