Jason Aldean Will Be Ambassador For Outdoor Brand
Jason Aldean will be the first-ever celebrity marketing partner for Field & Stream, an outdoor specialty brand sold by retailer Dick’s Sporting Goods. Aldean and his father Barry are featured in a new television ad airing on ESPN, Outdoor Channel, Nat Geo, Discovery, History and more. Aldean will release his new album, They Don’t Know, on Sept. 9 on Broken Bow Records.
Kenny Chesney Rises In NY Stadium Attendance
Kenny Chesney played for 56,292 fans at MetLife Stadium in New York City on Saturday night (Aug. 20). That number elevates Chesney’s all-time attendance for MetLife/Giants Stadium concerts to 279,874. As a result, he now ranks in the Top 10 of artist attendance in the venue’s history, and the only country artist overall. Chesney will wrap his Spread the Love Tour next weekend (Aug. 26-27) at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts.
Maren Morris Sings “Once” For NPR
Maren Morris filmed an exclusive live video of “Once” for NPR Music at RCA Studio A in Nashville. The song is the final track on her Columbia Nashville album, Hero. Morris was inspired to record a video for the song (which has not been released as a single) after an emotional performance of it while opening for Chris Stapleton at the Ryman Auditorium in February. Steven Tyler Gets First Vinyl Copy Of BMLG Album
Big Machine Label Group’s Scott and Sandi Borchetta presented Steven Tyler with the first vinyl copy of We’re All Somebody From Somewhere, his Dot Records label debut. Tyler was presented with the vinyl record backstage at the Ryman Auditorium, where he performed on Aug. 17 as part of his Out on a Limb Tour.
