Saguaro Road Records is inviting Tanya Tucker look-a-likes to email their photos to tanyacontest@gmail.com by Sept. 20, along with name and contact information. Three finalists who most resemble the singer will be selected and fans will vote for the grand prize winner, who will be announced in late September. The winner will receive an autograph from Tucker, a copy of her new CD, My Turn, a Saguaro Road Records flash drive and will also be showcased on www.saguaroroad.com.

Brad Paisley’s music video for his current hit, “Welcome to the Future,” will be used in ABC’s coverage of the 2009 Little League World Series of Baseball this coming weekend. The video—originally filmed in New York City; Washington, DC; Los Angeles; Tokyo and Kumamoto Japan—is being customized into three special versions for the Little League games.

Toby Keith is opening another of his I Love This Bar & Grills in WinStar World Casino, about an hour outside Dallas/Ft. Worth. The restaurant/bar/venue is under construction and is scheduled to be finished in mid December 2009.

The R.O.P.E. Awards (Reunion of Professional Entertainers) will be Oct. 8 at the Shriner’s Almeda Temple. Awards will be handed out, there will be dinner, and a performance including Jett Williams giving a tribute to Don Helms and Hank Williams. Tickets are $45 each or $1000 per table for a party of 10. Jody Kristofferson, son of legendary songwriter, actor and activist Kris Kristofferson, made his pro-wrestling debut on Aug. 15. The 24-year-old started wrestling competitively at the age of seven in his home state of Hawaii. He is signed with northern California’s All Pro Wrestling and made his professional debut with the stage name “Big Country” Jody Kristofferson in Hayward, California.
