Jason Aldean partnered with the Grand Ole Opry as part of “Opry Goes Pink”, incorporating his 11th annual “Concert for the Cure” in two special Opry performances to fight breast cancer. The superstar flipped the switch on the Opry’s signature barn backdrop, turning it pink as he and others performed in support of breast cancer awareness and raised funds for Women Rock for the Cure, a Nashville-based non-profit aiding young women facing breast cancer, and Susan G. Komen’s Nashville chapter. Aldean presented a check for over $450,000 to the Susan G. Komen Foundation raised on his 2016 Six String Circus Tour throughout the year, with this year’s contribution taking the grand total donated to over $3.3 million for the fight against breast cancer.
