Locally owned Anderson Benson Insurance & Risk Management has acquired a small portfolio of selected Nashville-based accounts, as well as team members from entertainment industry broker Robertson Taylor. Former Robertson Taylor Sr. VP Toby McCord, VP Reba Adams, and account executive Jenna Moore join Anderson Benson effective Thursday, May 1.

“This is a significant development because we added highly experienced and respected industry professionals to the team and expanded our established client base as the premier local entertainment and hospitality insurance broker in Nashville,” said Anderson Benson co-founder George Anderson. “Nashville has an immense entertainment industry. We are continuing to see that the industry is attracted to our unique ability to deliver big experience, expert consultation and personal service in the same neighborhood where they work and live.”

Anderson Benson serves multiple industries, including entertainment and hospitality, arts, construction, manufacturing, non-profit, professional services, life sciences and technology.

With Shannon Bare and Valerie Gray now helming the Nashville office of Robertson Taylor, the entertainment insurance broker will continue its commitment in Nashville’s market.

“Our Nashville office has grown tremendously over the past five years and continues to do so as we enjoy a very healthy Entertainment landscape, not only in Nashville, but Worldwide,” says Bare, Vice President and long-time Nashville native.
