Oklahoma’s red dirt music pioneers the Red Dirt Rangers celebrated the life of Woody Guthrie at the Woody Guthrie Centennial Celebration in Tulsa March 8-11 with four performances, including a group performance of Guthrie’s “This Land Is Your Land” with John Mellencamp, Jackson Browne, Hanson, Arlo Guthrie, and others. Additional performers at the event included Del McCoury Band, Rosanne Cash, The Flaming Lips, Jimmy LaFave, Monica Taylor, Jackson Browne, and Old Crow Medicine Show at the Brady Theater on March 10 for the special tribute.
