• Linda Edell Howard, founding partner of Adams and Reese’s Music Row office, is the recipient of the firm’s 2011 HUGS “Volunteer of the Year” Award. Her fundraising and community service endeavors include the Rollin’ Round Robin Classic Wheelchair Basketball tournament at the Webb School in Bell Buckle, and reinstating the Bill Hall Scholarship at Belmont University. She frequently donates her time as a guest lecturer and supports friends and colleagues in times of need. She works with the AFTRA Special Manager and Attorney Committee to create and maintain fairness in recording contracts. Along with music biz husband Doug Howard, she is an active fundraiser for the Tennessee Shakespeare Festival.

• Todd Fritsch has signed with so much MOORE media for media representation. • Songwriter Bree recently became the first staff writer signed to Werewolf Publishing, the outfit launched in late 2011 by David Castello.

• “Damned If I Know,” written by Joyce Harrison (Luvu Luvu Music, Nashville) and Richard Hamersma (Shadow Catcher Music, Chicago) won 2011 Best Dance Track at the Latvian equivalent of the Grammys recently. The song was translated into “Tev Miera Nav.”
