Brad Paisley appeared on the The Daily Show with Jon Stewart recently to promote the release of his first major book titled Diary of a Player.

Hollywood composer George S. Clinton was the guest of the SunTrust Brian Williams Entertainment Studies Lecture Series held recently by the Department of Recording Industry at Middle Tennessee State University. Clinton, a Chattanooga native and MTSU alumnus, has composed numerous background scores for major films including, the Austin Powers movies, The Mortal Kombat series, Wild Things, The Love Guru, Bury My Heart At Wounded Knee and many more. The lecture was conducted as an interview by Professor Matthew O’Brien for an audience of students and MTSU and SunTrust VIPs.
