Curb/Word Entertainment has promoted Ryan Dokke to the role of Sr. VP/GM. In 2014, he was named VP, Promotion for Curb Records.

Dokke started in radio as an intern while still in high school at KXXK-Aberdeen in Washington, where he first earned his stripes as Program Director at age 21 and was recognized in 2008 by Edison Media Research with a place on the ‘Top 30 Under 30’ list. He went on to hold various on-air and programming posts at KMPS (Seattle), KDRK (Spokane), and WKKT (Charlotte) and iHeartRadio. In 2011, Dokke joined the promotion department at Arista Records working with superstar artists such as Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood, among others.

“An exciting new chapter has begun at Curb | Word Entertainment. Both of these companies have an incredible history and legacy. I am honored to be able to play an important role here at a very exciting time. I am thankful to Mike Curb, Jim Ed Norman, and Dennis Hannon for their confidence and trust in me.” said Dokke of his appointment.

“It’s rewarding to see Ryan accept the challenges and opportunities accompanying his new position,” said Curb/Word CEO Jim Ed Norman. “Since coming to Curb four years ago, he has distinguished himself with an uncommon ambitious drive and passion that make him the obvious choice to lead the effort at creating one heartbeat and focus to be shared between these great companies.”
