ASCAP Presents At The Back Corner

ASCAP showcased two emerging pop artists on Wednesday (Feb. 28) at The Back Corner to a capacity crowd.

Chase Goehring, a 2017 contestant on America’s Got Talent, kicked things off with an acoustic set, followed by emerging pop duo Apollo Kings. Comprised of brothers Josh and Zach Carter, Apollo Kings debuted new music from their upcoming project at the showcase. Their first single, “Freak Show,” will be released this Friday (March 2).

Carly Pearce has been named a New Female Vocalist of the Year nominee at the upcoming Academy of Country Music Awards.

“I have dreamt of being nominated for an ACM Award my entire life,” shared Pearce. “All the years I watched the show from my couch, wondering if I’d ever make it to the awards as a nominee are now coming true. I LOVE YOU COUNTRY MUSIC!!”

The 53rd Academy of Country Music Awards will take place April 15 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.

 

Cale Dodds Meets U.S. Women’s Olympic Hockey Team

Cale Dodds recently visited WFUS radio in Tampa, Florida where he had the pleasure of meeting members of the gold medal-winning U.S. Women’s Olympic Hockey Team.
