Music City Hitmakers, BMI Add Writers To Cheekwood’s Songwriters Under The Stars

Music City Hit-Makers and BMI have announced the addition of six up-and-coming writers as openers for this weekend’s Songwriters Under The Stars at Cheekwood’s Swan Lake. Friday night’s round will feature Michael Hardy, Brinley Addington and Brett Tyler with performances by Trannie Stevens, Joseph Patton and Adam James on Saturday night.

Hitmakers Marcus Hummon, Jessi Alexander, Kyle Jacobs, Rivers Rutherford, Chris DeStefano and Hillary Lindsey have already been announced for the in-the-round setup backed by a symphony. Tickets for the Friday night show are available here. Saturday night is sold out.

“We are so excited to have these great emerging songwriters join our annual Songwriters Under The Stars this weekend,” says producer Charles Dixon.  “We’ve always been very passionate about supporting the new generation of hit-makers and this is the perfect way to include them in our show.”
