Weekly Register: Brad Paisley Brings ‘Love And War’ To Chart Summit

Brad Paisley debuts in the No. 1 spot on the Nielsen Soundscan country album rankings this week, with Love and War moving 26K.

Keith Urban‘s Ripcord lands at No. 2 this week, with 8.1K, while Chris Stapleton‘s Traveller lands at No. 3 with 7.2K.

This week’s top debut is Taylor Ray Holbrook, whose Backroads EP lands at No. 4 with 5.5K. Other debuts include Jimmy Fortune‘s Jimmy Fortune: Sings The Classics at No. 25 (1.6K), and Charlie Worsham‘s Beginning of Things at No. 29, with 1.5K.

Miranda Lambert rounds out the Top 5 this week, with The Weight Of These Wings selling 4.9K.

Sam Hunt‘s “Body Like A Backroad” continues its long trek at the top of the country digital tracks rankings, with 57K. Brett Young‘s “In Case You Didn’t Know” is at No. 2, with 30K, followed by Keith Urban and Carrie Underwood‘s “The Fighter” with 24K. Luke Combs‘ “Hurricane” is at No. 4, with 20K, followed by Chris Stapleton‘s “Broken Halos” at No. 5 with 15K.

This week’s top country debut comes from The Voice contestant Brennley Brown‘s cover of Linda Ronstadt’s ”Long Long Time,” landing at No. 7 country and selling 15K.

Digital country track sales are down 22.7 percent year to date, while overall digital track sales are down 24.7 percent.
