Big Machine Label Group has hired Tali Canterbury as Director, A&R Project Management. Canterbury previously worked as Publishing Manager for Big Machine Music where she assisted in the signing of BMM writers Tucker Beathard and Luke Combs as well as managing Jonathan Singleton and Laura Veltz.
“Tali not only has a great eye for talent, but also has the eye of a tiger,” shared BMLG President/CEO Scott Borchetta. “Her instincts are so spot-on with now and tomorrow. I can’t wait to see what she is going to bring to the A&R department.”
In her newly created role, Canterbury will work with the wide array of BMLG artists across the label group’s five imprints. Her past positions include roles at NSAI and Full Circle Music Publishing.
“I couldn’t be more excited about this new role and the opportunity to work with more artists from our incredible label roster,” commented Canterbury. “BMLG is an innovative and forward-thinking company and I am honored to continue to work with Scott, Allison, and the entire team behind the machine.”
Canterbury will be based in BMLG’s Nashville headquarters via tali.canterbury@bmlg.net and 615.324.9323.
