Blair Garner Radio Show Sets Nationwide Debut

George Strait is the first guest on The Blair Garner Show, an all-new, overnight radio program that debuts tonight (Oct. 31) across over 150 radio stations nationwide. Hosted by Garner and syndicated nationally by Westwood One, the show will air daily from midnight-5 a.m. and broadcasts from Cumulus Media’s NASH Campus in Nashville. Garner is dedicating the new show to those Americans who are hard at work on the late shift while the rest of the world is asleep.

“Fifteen million Americans work the late and overnight shifts… 15 million,” said Garner. “These folks are the backbone of our country — the ones who dig a little deeper to get ahead, and get the job done. We owe them a lot, and this show is our attempt to thank them for all that they do. They are a special bunch that deserve more than jukebox radio.”

“Blair originated the concept of overnight entertainment for country listeners,” said Mike McVay, Senior Vice President, Content & Programming, Cumulus Media and Westwood One. “His homecoming enables stations around the world the opportunity to build an even larger audience for their morning shows. His talent and total dedication to the third shift worker makes this show unique.”
