‘CMA Country Christmas’ Taping Set For Nov. 8

Jennifer-nettlesJennifer Nettles will help country fans ring in the holidays once again as she returns as host of “CMA Country Christmas,” the popular holiday special that will tape in front of a live audience Nov. 8 at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville. The show marks the seventh time Nettles has hosted the Christmas concert event, which is slated to air on ABC on Monday, Nov. 28.

“The taping of CMA Country Christmas has become a treasured holiday tradition for Nashville families,” said Sarah Trahern, CMA Chief Executive Officer. “And watching CMA Country Christmas on ABC is equally important as generations gather to celebrate the season.”

Nettles is releasing her own holiday album, To Celebrate Christmas, as well on Oct. 28. The CD will include collaborations with Idina Menzel on “Little Drummer Boy,” “God Rest Ye Merry Gentleman” with Andra Day, and “Circle of Love” with Dolly Parton.
