ZBB’s Coy Bowles Welcomes Baby Daughter

The Zac Brown Band‘s Coy Bowles and wife Kylie welcomed their first baby, daughter Hattie, on October 21. Bowles and Kylie tied the knot back in 2013 after he proposed onstage at a show in New York.

Chris Keaton Inducted Into North Carolina Music Hall of Fame

Chris Keaton, along with former bandmates from pioneer beach music band, The Band of Oz, was inducted into the North Carolina Music Hall of Fame on October 20. Fellow inductees in the 2016 class included The Avett Brothers, Kellie PicklerChuck Brown, and former Temptations member Ron Tyson.

Terry Currier to Receive Music Biz Spirit Award in 2017

Terry Currier, owner of the Portland, OR-based record store Music Millennium, will receive the Music Business Association’s prestigious Independent Spirit Award. The presentation will take place on May 17, 2017, during the Awards Breakfast of the Music Biz 2017 convention at Nashville’s Renaissance Hotel.
