Big Machine Music (BMM) has signed artist/songwriter Luke Combs to an exclusive songwriting agreement in a joint venture with 50 Egg Music, owned by fellow BMM writer Jonathan Singleton.

Combs relocated to Nashville from North Carolina in 2014 and signed a deal with The River House Artists/Columbia Nashville as an artist. His co-written debut single, “Hurricane,” is currently in the Top 40 from a forthcoming album, This One’s For You.

“I’m over the moon to have signed a publishing deal with Big Machine Music and Jonathan Singleton,” shared Combs. “It’s been a goal for me to sign my first publishing deal and I couldn’t be happier to be with such a devoted team.”

“At the core of Luke’s artistry is strong songwriting that is translating to thousands of fans on an emotional level,” shared Mike Molinar, GM of Big Machine Music. “Jonathan and the entire BMM team are excited to help Luke carve out his path as a songwriter to complement his budding career as a recording artist.”

Singleton added, “The first time I saw Luke play, I knew I was watching something great. I’m super excited about this new joint venture and equally as excited about my new friend.”

Combs will join Brantley Gilbert’s Devil Don’t Sleep Tour 2017 after he wraps on the road with Corey Smith. Combs’ solo dates include Nashville’s Exit/In on Oct. 19 and a Grand Ole Opry debut on Oct. 29.

Combs joins a writer roster including Singleton, Laura Veltz, Josh Thompson, and Fancy Hagood.
