The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum hosted its annual year-end celebration in honor of Words & Music, the museum’s flagship education program, on Wednesday (May 18).

Middle Tennessee participants and their families gathered in the museum’s Ford Theater for Words & Music Night along with host and EMI Nashville recording artist Gary Allan. Students performed songs composed in the program alongside a professional songwriting partner.

For 37 years, Words & Music has connected students with professional songwriters for a one-of-a-kind lesson in musical composition and language skills, offering educators a unique approach to teaching core curriculum.
