Road To Roo Narrows To Two Finalists
The statewide winner of the Road to Roo competition, presented by BMI and hosted by Lightning 100, will be determined at Nashville’s Mercy Lounge on Mon., April 4 at 9 p.m. Fan votes will determine which band will earn a spot at Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival. Finalists are Nashville’s Roots of a Rebellion and Knoxville’s Josiah and the Greater Good.
HI-FI Selects Richlyn Marketing
HI-FI, The Mobile Lifestyle Network, has hired Nashville-based marketing and public relations firm, Richlyn Marketing, to handle media and artist relations and strategic marketing. HI-FI is a new interest-driven network where members create, join, and contribute to user-curated communities based on their interests.
Described as “The Ultimate Newsfeed,” HI-FI cuts clutter and connects users to what they care about the most, without algorithms or distractions. In addition, the application offers the opportunity for monetization, giving users the ability to generate advertising revenue from curated hashtags.
Richlyn Marketing will help expand the platform’s musical footing in Nashville and assist with brand development and partnerships industry-wide. HI-FI Founder and CEO, J. Dropbox To Sponsor Music Biz Awards Luncheon
The Music Business Association (Music Biz) has announced that Dropbox will sponsor the Music Biz 2016 Awards Luncheon on Wed., May 18, at the Renaissance Nashville Hotel in Nashville.
