Two new country music festivals have been announced from AEG Live and Festival Productions: Country 500 at Daytona International Speedway in Florida (May 27 – 29) and Dega Jam at Talladega Superspeedway in Alabama (July 1 – 3).
For Memorial Day in Florida, performers include Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Kid Rock, Lady Antebellum, and Willie Nelson. The complete Country 500 lineup, including the Friday night headliner, will be released on November 3 when tickets, infield camping and VIP packages will go on sale to the public. Early bird pricing ($199) for weekend general admission passes begins on November 3.
“Luke Bryan closing out the Festival Sunday night; Kid Rock, Willie Nelson, and a homecoming celebration with Florida Georgia Line all on Saturday night; another superstar still to be announced to close Friday night; plus 40 more stars will be featured on the three stages over three days,” said Country 500 producer Quint Davis.
Later in 2016, Talladega, Ala. will host Dega Jam during the Fourth of July weekend. Artist lineups will be announced on October 25 with tickets and VIP packages on sale to the public the same day. Louisiana-based Festival Production has founded and produced the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival in addition to producing the Essence Music Festival, Bayou Country Superfest, Buckeye Country Superfest, and two Presidential Inaugural public events on the National Mall, as well as special events for both the NBA and the NFL.
