Kenny Chesney has announced that he will begin The Big Revival Tour in Nashville, Tenn., on Thursday, March 26, 2015. Tickets go on sale next Friday, Jan. 23 at 10 a.m. Central.

The show happens to also fall on Chesney’s 47th birthday.

“This has been an amazing year,” Chesney says, “in terms of the music we made, the songs written, the adventures had and especially what’s gone into this tour! So many people have contributed, and I thought by starting off where so many of them live, they can see what we’ve built before I take it out on the road!”

The tour will also include stops at almost two dozen NFL stadiums, with the first being May 2 at Levi Stadium in San Francisco, and several festivals. The arena shows will feature Jake Owen and Chase Rice, while the stadium dates will have a shifting line-up of country stars including Jason Aldean, Eric Church, Old Dominion and Brantley Gilbert.

“I just know that after a year and a half off, I’m so ready to get out there and make new music, to see the fans and hear them sing these songs back to us! I’m especially charged to hear the new songs, because, well, that’s part of why I recorded the ones that made the record.”
