Miranda Lambert will perform her entire forthcoming album in sequence at the Ryman Auditorium just days before its release, so she can share the new music with Nashville fans and music industry peers. The “Revolution at the Ryman” will be Sept. 24, prior to the Sept. 29 release date, and she plans to close out the set with hits from her first two critically acclaimed albums, Kerosene and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. Tickets will go on sale at 10 AM Fri., Aug. 14 at www.ryman.com or www.ticketmaster.com.
Lambert, a two-time Grammy nominee has seen her previous albums debut at No. 1 on the Country Album Chart. Her third Sony album, Revolution, was produced by Frank Liddell and Mike Wrucke, and Lambert wrote or co-wrote all but three of the 15 cuts. She worked with a cross-section of writers including Blake Shelton, Ashley Monroe, Natalie Hemby and Lady Antebellum’s Dave Haywood and Charles Kelley, who lends background vocals on “Love Song.” Of the three songs Lambert did not write, she pulled from her talented favorites—John Prine, Julie Miller, Allen Shamblin and Tom Douglas to complete the album.
Miranda continues to tour the country with superstar Kenny Chesney and has plans to headline dates this fall and winter in support of Revolution.
