Industry Ink: AC Entertainment, Sugar Hill Records, Buddy Lee Attractions

ac entertainmentPromoter AC Entertainment and the Nashville Symphony have extended their multi-year agreement. ACE has served as the buyer for the non-orchestra presentations at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center since 2012, bringing in shows including B.B. King, Huey Lewis and the News, and Steve Martin and the Steep Canyon Rangers.

“Our partnership with AC Entertainment has helped contribute to a very successful period for the Nashville Symphony, including a record-breaking year for ticket sales during the 2013/14 season,” said Alan Valentine, Nashville Symphony president and CEO. “This relationship has made it possible to bring a wider array of artists to the Schermerhorn, and with ACE’s help we look forward to building on that success and delivering more outstanding entertainment to the people of Middle Tennessee.”

Sugar Hill Records has hired Ashley Moyer as Manager of Artist & Media Relations. Moyer previously worked as Public Relations manager at Lotos Nile She began her career interning at Sony/ATV Music Publishing, and earned a Bachelor of Science: Recording Industry degree with a minor in Public Relations from Middle Tennessee State University in 2011.

Sugar Hill’s GM/SVP Cliff O’Sullivan says, “We’re delighted to welcome Ashley to Sugar Hill. Her experience in the publicity area makes her the perfect complement to our marketing team.”
