Brad Paisley has been announced as one of the Celebrity Experts for the upcoming ABC TV singing competition, Rising Star. The show will premiere Sunday, June 22 at 9:00 p.m./EST. The new interactive concept will include real-time voting via an app as singers perform live on stage. During the performance, the singer will be able to see the voting as it happens. If they meet a threshold, they will advance in the competition.
Other members on the expert panel include pop star Kesha and Hip Hop’s Ludacris. The show will be hosted by singer-songwriter Josh Groban. All four celebrities are scheduled to appear together at the Billboard Music Awards this Sunday, May 18 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
