Hank Williams’ ‘The Garden Spot Programs’ Out Next Month

hank williams11On the eve of the release of his collectible 10″ vinyl National Record Store Day EP, Omnivore Records has announced the release of a new Hank Williams project, available on May 20 titled The Garden Spot Programs, 1950. The project includes 24 performances from this show, recorded over 60 years ago. It will be available on CD, limited-edition red vinyl LP and digital.

Hank Williams’ daughter Jett Williams says, “It’s incredible to me that we’re still finding new recordings by my dad. Great ones, at that! No one even suspected that these recordings existed. We partnered with Omnivore Recordings for this release, and I especially love it that they’re taking my dad back to vinyl.”
