Vevo, Yahoo Expand Partnership

vevoVevo‘s 100,000 HD music videos, live concert events and original programming are coming to Yahoo Screen.

Yahoo and Vevo have expanded their partnership; through this deal, viewers can access programming powered by Vevo on Yahoo Screen in the United States and Canada. In coming weeks, the partnership will extend to the UK, Germany, Spain, France, and Italy, as well as to the Yahoo Screen mobile app.

Vevo’s content will run alongside other Yahoo Screen content like videos from Saturday Night Live, The Onion, GQ, ABC News, Vogue, The Daily Show and more.

“Our renewed partnership with Yahoo will bring Vevo’s programming to more music fans than ever before,” said Rio Caraeff, President and CEO of Vevo. “Yahoo has the potential to be one of our largest partners, and our launch across Yahoo Screen and, soon in more countries and on more platforms, is a big win for viewers who want to watch their favorite music video programming anytime and anywhere.”

The companies’ partnership, which launched in 2012, previously syndicated Vevo’s programming to Yahoo Music.
