ASCAP hosted its monthly songwriters-in-the-round showcase at The Bluebird Cafe on Thursday, Feb. 6. The round featured top ASCAP songwriter members Jon Nite (“Whatever She’s Got”), Jimmy Robbins (“We Were Us,”) and Deric Ruttan (“Mine Would Be You”), as well as breaking Columbia Nashville songwriter-artist Leah Turner (“Take the Keys”).

New Country duo Dan+Shay recently celebrated their debut performance on the Grand Ole Opry, where they performed their single, “19 You+Me.” Dan+Shay (Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney) will release their debut album April 1 on Warner Bros. Records.
