CMA Awards Gets Ratings Rise

CMA_KeyArtAfter a move to Thursdays in 2012, The 47th annual Country Music Association awards’ annual show was up 24 percent last night among adults 18-19 (21 percent overall) on Wednesday, Nov. 6, with an average 4.7 rating among adults 18-49, according to The Hollywood Reporter. That score earned the awards a win for the network in both the key demo and total viewers. ABC saw the show draw in 16.6 million viewers.

Last year, Country music’s biggest night peaked at 14.1 million viewers and brought in a 3.8 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
