MusicRow No. 1 Song

TSWhile North America waits for Taylor Swift’s road show to “Begin Again,” she has delivered a No. 1 song by that title to this week’s MusicRow CountryBreakout chart before setting out on her Red tour next month (March 13).

The self-penned single came as the first promotional track from Swift’s October 2012 Big Machine Label Group release Red. A week after its release, “Begin Again” was announced as the second–and more subdued–radio single to follow “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.”

During release week (Oct. 3, 2012) MusicRow’s Robert K. Oermann bestowed the “Disc of the Day” award for the title, noting: “This intimate ballad whispers of the warm, wafting winds that carry a disillusioned heart into the climate of new romance. Marvelously evocative and expressive. Not to mention extraordinarily well written.”

Take a peek at the tastefully classic music video below…and congratulations to the Swift team for their work on yet another No. 1. We’ll see ya on the road!
